Warmaster and Warmaster Ancients

Warmaster

I have an Empire army (most of which is on loan from Cheltenham Warchiefs) which consists of the following:

  • General
  • 4 Heroes
  • 1 Mage
  • 4 Knights
  • 6 Halbardiers
  • 4 Crossbow
  • 2 Handgunners
  • 2 Cannon
  • 1 Mortar
  • 1 Helblaster
  • 1 Flagellant

I had the idea of using Kalistra's War of the Rodes figures instead of Games Workshop ones, but the Retinue Billmen figures I bought are a very large 10mm: almost 15mm! I may try Pendraken instead, as I like their WW2 figures, and they are a lot cheaper than GW! However, this will have to wait, as I currently have too many other projects on the go, and not enough cash (a gamer's curse...)

Warmaster Ancients

I currently have two armies: Greeks and Sassinid Persians, I haven't had much success with either yet (Greeks are really hard to use), but hopefully this will change as I get more games played. I'm also considering selling either the Greeks or both, and getting a Rus list instead (as this will tie in nicely wih my new Warhammer Ancient Battles army)

The Greeks consist of:

  • General
  • 2 Heroes
  • 1 Sacred Band
  • 8 Hoplites
  • 4 Skirmishers
  • 1 Cretan Archers
  • 2 Mounted Skirmishers
  • 1 Noble Cavalry

The Sassinids consist of:

  • General
  • 2 Heroes
  • 1 Guard Cavalry
  • 2 Clibinarii
  • 4 Levy Infantry
  • 4 Levy Archers
  • 2 Skirmishers
  • 2 Mounted Skirmishers
